Modern Grandeur
Bath
A previous shower surround felt cramped and dark despite the generous space in this primary bathroom. The tub deck and bulky shower walls divided the room into isolated quadrants rather than creating a unified space, and varying wall heights cut views and confused the eye.
When designing the new shower, we wanted the center of the room to feel inviting. One of our favorite features is the integrated shower and seating bench. On one side, the bench serves as a ledge in the wet room; on the other, it provides the perfect drop-in seating while getting ready in the morning or keeping someone company. Our tile layer executed the mitered edges with precision, ensuring both beauty and long-term structure.
The vanity itself showcases the collaboration of multiple trades for top-tier performance. Beaded inset cabinetry with a signature reveal, finished in Sherwin Williams Iron Ore, is strikingly elegant. Flanking the floating vanity, continuous mitered tops and custom-depth cabinet pullouts maximize storage for hot tools and toiletries. While these details read seamlessly, their execution is highly technical, highlighting the importance of partnering with trusted experts.
We preserved previous technological enhancements while integrating new heated flooring throughout. The lighting plan was refined with carefully chosen fixtures that elevate the design and add personality.
The new tub configuration, centered on the window and flanked by cabinetry, feels far more functional than the oversized deck it replaced. A custom tile ledge offers a practical, long-lasting feature we envision our clients utilizing for decades.
The space now flows with uninterrupted views, subdued harmony, and elevated finishes. A custom shower footprint defies tradition while providing an ideal place to prepare for any day. We are thrilled with the results and proud to showcase everything we accomplished in this project.
