This is a light and bright update on a traditional 2-story home.  The kitchen is the hub of the home and the original design was not big enough for the family of 4 to function well in the space.  We added the coffee/beverage bar area with a touch of color in the patterned tile surrounding the floating shelves.  We added a walk-in pantry with butcher block countertop and plenty of shelving for storage as well as a new traditional glass barn door.  The custom hood ties in beautifully with the floating shelves and mantle.  We also flipped the half bath to be accessed from the far end of the hearth room when it was originally where the walk in pantry was.
