Farmhouse
Chic

Light, bright, and airy were the requests for this kitchen remodel.

We decided with the height of the ceilings in this space it was best to do custom built shaker painted cabinets with small touches of white oak to tie in with all the newly finished hardwood flooring.  Key points of must haves were better layout of actual working space, as well as plenty of storage which we were able to do with a custom built pantry including 6 rollouts for ease of use.  By extending the cabinets closer towards the cased opening into the living room we were able to create a small coffee bar area.  Finished off with new lighting, countertops and backsplash.

Once the kitchen design was in place the homeowners decided it was best to move forward with updating the entire main floor to match the new kitchen design.  We replaced all the lighting on the main floor, painted all the ceilings, trim and walls to make it bright and airy and probably the most wow factor feature when entering the home is the newly renovated white oak staircase.  With solid white oak treads and risers finished to match the hardwood floors and capped off with the new custom painted handrail and black metal balusters.  The finish factor to tie all the spaces was the whitewashed stone fireplace which allowed us to brighten up the dark stone to correlate to the new overall design.
