This basement remodel truly was a family affair.  The home has been in the family since it was built and the basement was the place to gather. It just needed a more functional layout with a better concept for entertaining and hosting.  We collaborated with the homeowners to determine their home was the spot to be for family dinners, birthdays, football games, and Holidays.  So you can imagine as the family gets bigger the space needs to mature.  

 

We decided to utilize the large end wall for custom cabinets full of panel ready appliances and cabinets for storage.  This was a huge increase to the small wet bar that was originally down there.  Then where the wet bar was we created that as a wine bar with a clear view wine fridge and full countertop to layout food and drinks.  The colors are masculine and warm to create an inviting cozy place to hang out.  With flipping the tv to the stairwell wall it created a larger living room area that was not blocked in by the sectional and gave ample traffic flow to the bar as well as the large game table area.  

 

We installed wood look plank tile flooring throughout the basement and carried this all the way back to the guest bathroom.  We built a new custom vanity to match the new custom bar cabinets and updated the bathroom with all new plumbing fixtures as well as sconces and a new mirror.  Did we mention this space is cozy even with tile floors because we installed a heating element underneath tile throughout as well. Making the flooring not only functional for entertaining but livable.  

 

We are in love with this Entertainers Basement!
